It’s finally your birthday today, isn’t it? 30 years old, but you honestly don’t look a day over 25. There’s always been something about you that’s remained young, even when you’ve matured so much. It’s not the same as me, not that playful childishness, but something completely different. Your drive, your passion, your outlook on the world has remained untouched despite what you had to endure in your earlier years, and I know that the love you have for music will never change. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs, a rocky roller coaster that threatened to come off its track, but we always somehow managed to work through them, whether it be professionally or personally. You have always been one that I’ve connected creatively with, and it’s because of you that I was able to grow and even experience how it was like for you to step out onto that stage, pouring your heart and soul out with every word your sing. You’re such a beautiful person, Takanori, and your lyrics, your music, your compassion, your entire being has been able to reach out and touch not only our fans here in Japan, but overseas and across the world. Through the band, we have been able to see the world through your eyes, the beauty it holds and the turmoils that haunt your mind. Thank you for being such a wonderful person, for watching out for me when I was too occupied with looking out for you, and for everything that you’ve ever done.
Happy birthday, Takanori. I hope your every wish comes true.
So and then there’s finally the Gazette fic I’ve been thinking about for so long.
Finally started to write it, somehow I changed the plot completely in the end.
